We wish to present the use of artificial intelligence in different fields of research in which the Faculty of Pharmacy is active to young people, children and anyone interested.
Artificial intelligence can help people recognise medicinal plants by using an app – we will familiarise attendees with such plants’ uses (edible, medicinal, aromatic plants), risks (poisonous plants) and challenges (protected plants, invasive plants).
Virtual reality technology can be used in learning manual and other skills in a lab as it enables people to enter realistic virtual lab environments without actually physically being in a lab.
We will also present the role of AI-based web tools and chatbots, which can be oriented towards the medical treatment of users but can also help understand chemical reactions and the role of ingredients in various products. With different algorithms, artificial intelligence can also help design personalised cosmetics.
