Based on the program, we will attempt to perform an AI-based music note recognition for the piano accordion and present a plan for attempting such a recognition for the Japanese koto instrument. Marko Žejn will discuss this with Dr Klara Hrvatin and Dr Nagisa Moritoki Škof.

AI in Music: Attempt to Transcribe the Melody of a Piano Accordion
We will present Marko Žejn’s Notni zapis razpoznanih zvokov glasbil s pomočjo nevronske mreže (Note recognition of musical instruments using the neural network) – a program that can recognize individual tones and intervals, changing their frequency record signals to a music notation.
