We will take a peek into the rarities room, where particularly valuable books are kept, and learn about the interdisciplinary character of research.

In a literary workshop, students will juxtapose the world of people and the world of animals in the poetry of Vitomil Zupan and the Czech poet I.M. Jirous. Among other things, we will have the opportunity to listen to the presentation of the book Man to Animal and Animal to Man in Contemporary Slavic Poetry, published as part of the European Researchers’ Night project.

There will also be an exhibition of visual representations of poetry by students of the Ljubljana School of Design and Photography.

The workshops will take place within the framework of the activities Two Birds with One Stone and Man to Animal, Animal to Man in Contemporary Slavic Poetry. They will be suitable for pupils of the 7, 8 and 9 grade of primary school.
