Opening of the Travelling East Asian Collection Panel Exhibition

The exhibition presented the East Asian Collections in Slovenia project, which was led by the Department of Asian Studies at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Ljubljana in collaboration with the Slovene Ethnographic Museum and the Science and Research Centre Koper, with the financial support of the Slovenian Research Agency. The Celje Regional Museum, National Museum of Slovenia and Maritime Museum “Sergej Mašera” Piran were also involved in the project.

The representations of collections and objects included in the project are equipped with QR codes that enable viewing the corresponding objects on the vazcollections.si website. The panel exhibition is part of a series of placements of the Travelling East Asian Collection. In addition to Celje, it has been on view in eight other locations in Slovenia.
