The Threads & Codes project explores artificial intelligence, its strengths, weaknesses and interaction between humans and AI. Through various methods of textiles and fashion design, including handmade, machine-made, digital and AI-generated patterns, students study the relationships between these approaches and analyse their differences and similarities. This year, practical and content-related research on artificial intelligence has yielded the projects: Small Woven Textiles, Visualisations, Cyatt and Threads & Codes & I.
The event is being prepared for you by Asst Prof. Arijana Gadžijev, MA, and Nastja Sagadin Grmek, TA (UL NTF).
