The works of art are on view in the school foyer, showing the relationship between humans and animals and revealing how people see themselves and try to understand themselves through animals.

Manipulation and sustainable development, when it comes to the wild animal world, most often do not go hand in hand, believes project coordinator Tomaž Tomažin.

Many times we get scared when we see wild animals. The reason is probably in man’s alienation from nature – true wilderness. Many times we identify with animals and celebrate them when we attribute to them the attributes of miraculous and fantastic creatures in which we would most often like to recognize ourselves and have their power.

The opening of the exhibition will be on 29 September at 2.15 pm in the lobby of Gimnazija Bežigrad secondary school. The exhibition will be on display until 10 November 2023.
