The European Researchers’ Night was presented to the Liber.ac book fair visitors by the project leader, Sašo Jerše, PhD, vice-dean for doctoral studies and research at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana, Mateja Gaber, PhD (Faculty of Arts), Cvetka Sokolov, PhD (Faculty of Arts), Zora Stančič, MA (Academy of Fine Arts and Design), and Alenka Seliškar, PhD (Veterinary Faculty).
The link between the project idea and this year’s theme (researchers beyond their basic mission and the nobility of human-animal coexistence) was demonstrated by the historian Dušan Nečak, PhD, Professor Emeritus and former dean of the Faculty of Arts, and his daughter Mirka Nečak, a philosophy graduate.
They presented the work of search-and-rescue dogs looking for a missing person in the wild.
