Human # Animal

The Human # Animal exhibition brought together Academy of Fine Arts and Design students in different majors. Their creative process was focus on the topics of anthropocentrism, genetics, robotics and the new interactions between humans and animals fostered by these sciences.

The material, technique and concept of each project by a student or group of students were decided by each artist.

The project encouraged students to employ new ways of creation and reflection about the topics of corporeality, perception, awareness, instinctiveness and ethics in relation to animals, also presenting the importance of art in addressing this theme.

The exhibition, held at the Slovenian Museum of Natural History, present the works of art created within the project as a single joined composition.

Participating students: Tim Topić, Jan Kranjec (graphic design); Amadeja Gwendolina Završnik, Jon Kušar (illustration); Domen Hitrec, Mori Sikora, Sara Skenderija, Mark Šircel, Liza Jutra Norčič, Gal Tič, Klara Maček (painting); Rilind Beqolli, Miha Livk (industrial design); Jera Dacar, Meta Mramor (unique design); Stela Primc, Vesna Markič (sculpture).

The exhibition will b on display until October 31, 2022.
