Do you know your ancestors? Is body hair annoying or useful? Plus, a discussion on snails, fish, hedgehogs and chickens.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of <em>The Animal within<\/em> activity was to present the evolutionary history of the human body, the characteristics of particular organs and to facilitate an understanding of their functions through a multi-sensory experience.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Through games and experiments, the children learnt about their own bodies: hair, teeth, nails and fingers. They learnt about snails and the first mammal.
