Finally, the students carried out a practical demonstration of biosecurity measures themselves.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Use of Animals for Research Purposes Enables Advances in Medicine and Helps to Improve Animal Welfare<\/strong>, coordinator: Tatjana Pirman, PhD, Biotechnical Faculty<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The workshop introduced the students to the fields in which experimental and laboratory animals are used. The researchers encouraged the students to participate by asking questions, posing dilemmas and solving them.
