The first part of the event ended with a visit to the panel exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The second part started with the viewing of two short films. The first short film about <a href=\"https:\/\/vazcollections.si\/?s=golobja+pi%C5%A1%C4%8Dal&amp;post_type=predmeti\">pigeon whistles<\/a> from the <a href=\"https:\/\/vazcollections.si\/zbirke\/skuskova-zbirka-sem\/\">Sku\u0161ek collection<\/a> was made as part of the European Researcher&#8217;s Night project.\u00a0 The second film about the Sku\u0161ek collection in general was prepared by the SEM \u00a0in one of the past joint collaborations in the <a href=\"https:\/\/vazcollections.si\/vaz-objava-skuskova-zbirka-pagode-china-europeana-sem-video\/\">PAGODE Europeana \u2013 China<\/a> project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An interesting conversation about the Sku\u0161ek collection followed. The following participated in the conversation, led by Maja Veseli\u010d, PhD (Department of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts): Klara Hrvatin, PhD (Department of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts), Ralf \u010ceplak Mencin (SEM), Helena Motoh, PhD (ZRS Koper and Department of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts) and Tina Berdajs (Department of Asian Studies, Faculty of Arts).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The entire program was rounded off by a tour of a part of the SEM permanent exhibition, which includes some items from the Sku\u0161ek collection. Guidance on the <em>theme Human(e), animal and animal, Human(e)<\/em>, was conducted by Nata\u0161a Vampelj Suhadolnik, PhD, who focused on animal motifs and their symbolic meanings in the traditional Chinese society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The outdoor exhibition on Metelkova street was open from 21 June to 28 August 2022.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\">\n
